NERA PIGON GRAMMOU announces the publication of its first Sustainability Report for 2024 – the first year of its commercial activity. The Report is published voluntarily, as it is not legally obliged as a startup company, but consciously choosing transparency and accountability.
Since the company’s establishment, sustainability has been at its core and it is not an complementary action. The company’s activity is developed on mountain Grammos, within a Natura 2000 protected area, with the aim of having zero impact on the natural environment.
The company invests in sustainable management of water resources and the circular economy, while at the same time actively supporting the local community, as 70% of its human resources and 57% of its middle management come from the local community. The first Sustainability Report, based on European standards (GRI with a connection to VSME), reflects the philosophy of NERA PIGON GRAMMOU that sustainability is not an obligation, but a conscious choice and the foundation of long-term development.
